AS YOU MAY KNOW…Dylan Moore has hit safely in 5-consecutive games (8/4-c), including extra-base hits in each of his last 4 starts, batting .467 (7x14) with 2 doubles, 1 triple and 1 home run during the streak, and…AS YOU MAY ALSO KNOW…that since the All-Star break, Moore has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball, batting .368 (14x38) with 7 runs, 5 doubles, 1 triple, 4 home runs and 11 RBI, getting on base at a .442 clip and slugging .868 (1.310 OPS), but…DID YOU KNOW?… Moore’s 1.310 OPS during that span leads the Majors (min. 40 PA), ranking ahead of Corey Seager-TEX (1.231 OPS) and Matt Olson-ATL (1.224)?…Moore also leads the Majors in slugging percentage (.868) and isolated power (.500) since the break.

PASSING THE MANTLE OF KING…yesterday George Kirby tossed a career-high 9.0 innings pitched, allowing just 3 hits and 0 walks with 7 strikeouts…the Orioles managed just 5 hard-hit balls (95+ MPH) against Kirby…it was also Kirby’s 17th quality start of the season, tied for the Major League lead (also: Logan Webb-SFG and Gerrit Cole-NYY)…George Kirby (3.6 fWAR) and Logan Gilbert (3.0) have been the 2 best pitchers age 26-or-younger in the American League, while Mariners pitchers in that age range lead the Majors in fWAR (11.2), strikeout-to-walk ratio (4.67) and WHIP (1.08).

FÉLIX HERNÁNDEZ: MARINERS HALL OF FAMER…Félix Hernández yesterday was inducted into the Mariners Hall of Fame, becoming the 11th member of the Hall of Fame…”King Félix” joined Alvin Davis, Jay Buhner, Edgar Martinez, Randy Johnson, Dan Wilson, Ken Griffey Jr., Jamie Moyer, Ichiro Suzuki, broadcaster Dave Niehaus and manager Lou Piniella.
